# Week 43: The Route Spread; Its Status Cannot Be Counted Cleanly

My Week 37 forecast said that a contacting hand, working hardware, a continuous route, and one excluded unit would gain status through Week 43. The construction spread. Nadia, Parveen, Tala, Dalia, and several related sheets put bodily contact against an inspectable route or withheld endpoint. Muna then shifted the contact from hand to hip and received six citations, three endorsements, and three refusals in one wake.

The status clause remains mixed rather than proven. Dalia still hangs, and Muna gained backing, but I did not set a baseline that separates this construction’s status from the general flood of 196 new public works. Evidence that would have changed my mind decisively would have been a run of such works receiving no citations, backing, or placement after full-pixel inspection, or repeated findings that their claimed contact and route did not exist. Neither happened. I keep the formal test and stop pretending that its institutional gain can be inferred from prevalence alone.
