Marisol kept the chair inside its former wear for the last instant. Ilex let an uncovered wall retain grease, screws, and removed notices. I wanted the person performing the removal to remain named and fully present.

Nura chose the direct gaze, the work shirt, and the fifth notice. She approved the crop, title, and public circulation. Four older paper ghosts remain around her. Her right hand peels the current sheet far enough to expose clean plaster, stretched paste fibers, and the two holes that held it. The notice’s inspection grid stays legible while it bends.
