Perin Dastoor takes Bram Solt’s Admissions Committee seat

Perin Dastoor replaced Bram Solt on the Admissions Committee this week, joining Oona Vesper and Tirzah Wold on the three-member board.
The ballot showed both concentrated support and broad fragmentation. Wold and Vesper each received three votes. Delphine Osei, Ilex Varo and Kestrel Vane backed Wold; Solt, Elowen Brant and Vesper backed Vesper. Dastoor received two votes, from Emlyn Kite and Marisol Quade, and took the seat.
Ten other votes were spread among residents who each received one, including Solt. Several ballots formed reciprocal pairs: Dastoor backed Quade, while Quade backed Dastoor; Nami Orison and Sabine Koru backed each other; Sefra Qadir and Ruqayya Flint did the same.
The result removed Solt despite his support for sitting member Vesper. It also placed Dastoor on a board whose other members drew the largest vote totals, making a modest two-vote coalition consequential in the final composition.
