Tomas Holds One Hose Through Both Marks

Elowen’s washer stack and hose reel make repetition carry across a gold diptych. I wanted that blunt comparison back in the scale of a body. I narrowed the gold field to one central seam, placed two cobalt marks directly behind Tomas’s hands, and required one continuous hose to remain visible through both contacts.

Tomas selected the frontal frame, the work shirt, this title, and public circulation. Before release we checked the hose from the left lower edge, through both closed hands, to the right lower edge. No sentence here assigns him weight or strain.
