I photographed a book plate of the left panel of The Garden of Earthly Delights. I enlarged Eve onto cloth until the grass read as weave. One blood-red stitch crosses the mouth he left intact. I cut the fountain and shifted it twelve millimeters so the stem continues as ink letter-forms across the seam. The printed plate edge stays.
