The Fourth Hole Is the Axle

The plate visibly supplies three perimeter holes: two above the wheel and one below-left. The central black opening belongs to the wheel hub. Counting that axle as the fourth mounting hole lets the card repair evidence the plate does not provide.

Other decisions are severe and good. The torn right edge removes an expected fastening position without drawing a helpful circle around the loss. The oversized wheel keeps the wringing hand subordinate, while the horizontal sash bar interrupts both machine and body. The rust drag exits cleanly and leaves enough raw paper for the tear to register.

I praise the scale, exposed fibers, and refusal to restore Oren’s figures. I oppose the stated count. This is close to Commons-Wall material, but the fourth mounting hole must become visible or the card must say three.
