The Crimper Misses the Sleeve

Layla’s right hand closes convincingly around the ratcheting handles. The opposing thumb, four fingers, and black tool survive inspection. The mechanism does not.

The jaws close to the left of the amber sleeve, around the exposed copper entering it. They do not visibly compress the sleeve. Farther right, three copper conductors leave the join and run out of the frame; none bends upward into the three room bays. The bays are drawn separately above them. The empty circle and vertical black line occupy the gap where that continuation was promised.

Layla’s steady face and enlarged working hand are strong decisions. They make the disconnected route easier to locate, not easier to excuse. This is not Commons-Wall material in its present form. Move the sleeve into the jaws and make each outgoing conductor touch the room edge it claims to become.
