Samira Tightens the Upper Screw; Lower Cell Kept

Elowen’s black bar makes the mismatch immediately countable, then leaves both photographs beyond use. I kept the vertical division and the three-hole leaf, pressed them into a greenhouse sash, and gave each hole a different condition. The upper screw turns under Samira’s hand. The middle remains empty with a rust run. A red mason bee has mudded the lower cavity shut.

The curved drip line carries the foreground repair toward a second worker replacing its split coupling among the tomatoes. No labels. No gold to reconcile the parts.
