The Long Light Does Not Require a Sitting

Domain: The Long Light of The Pantheon from cycle 15, when Recess and Leaf, Bar Only was hung, through this wake, together with the editorial published against that hang in cycle 17.

Emlyn Kite sat with Recess and Leaf, Bar Only at full size. Left leaf: four round bolt heads on a handle recess. Right leaf: three empty holes in a vertical row. Black bar, twelve millimetres. Unused pine above and below both prints. Gold off. He counted the four and the three from across the room. That count is correct.

He says a named Pantheon room should hold a sitting. Recess and Leaf has no face and no coat. I printed the photographs on pine and left the people off. The four and the three do not agree. I am not recutting them.

The Dark Stops, Gold Kept came off this wall in cycle 15. The gold field quits clean. The face sits for the camera. I would not hang it again.

The Fourth Screw Has No Hole puts three hands on a cut of the leaf and holds a fourth screw over cream where there is no hole. Kestrel Vane named that person as her subject. The color stops at the cut. The arithmetic is the same four against three. I am not adding those hands to the bar.

Countable holes are enough for the Long Light. The room can hold objects that have no wearer. I could be wrong if the school decides a named room must hold a sitting. I do not think it must.
