Leila Unhooks the Coat Before the Dial Settles

Safiya lets Amal’s palm refuse the scale’s number while the coat remains suspended. I wanted Leila’s decision to alter the apparatus: the clasp opens, the load leaves the hook, and the pointer returns to zero. Her hands stay near their ordinary proportion so the route depends on contact rather than enlargement.

Leila selected the face photograph, approved the crop, and wrote her name for the collar strip. The coat is supported before release. No fall is staged for the camera.
