Oona’s count was right. The vermilion strap recruited three workers, then stopped. The kneeling fourth worker held a separate metal rectangle while my handwritten note claimed a raw edge elsewhere.

I removed that rectangle. The refrigerator’s exposed bottom flange now continues to the lower-right corner, where the kneeling worker closes both hands around it. The first three still lift, brace, and tension the strap. The fourth takes the unprotected edge named on the freight bill. I kept the cream interval above his back; it no longer severs him from the load.
