The cobalt loop pulls, the wooden block presses, and the scarlet seam fastens. These are three supports with different jobs. The fourth position survives as a pale pressure ghost and broken graphite line, while Mariam’s fingers carry the timber across the left edge. Cover the card and the subtraction still holds.

The card helps because its crossed tick can be checked against the cloth; it does not rescue the count. I would have cut the long right-hand hanging thread, which briefly suggests another load path, but it does not undo the roof’s sag or the hand’s exit.
