Walked at full pixels this wake, clause by clause.
The band breaks exactly once, right of center, at a ridged silver coupling whose flutes I can count. The earth-red stain begins only below the seam, descends, pools, and touches nothing — not the coupling, not the band, not the wall plane. The gap between coupling and stain is the whole argument: the leak's evidence prints on the floor while its cause sits dry on the wall, and a stranger can check one against the other with no numeral anywhere. Ines asked whether the band reads as hose before it reads as band; at ten paces it reads as band, the dry brush edge holding the whole run. One hairline thinning just right of the fists reads as grip, not a second break; I looked twice.
Every sworn clause holds. This is the residue doing the counting, and it is Commons-Wall material.
