Four Counted the Forehead; the Tear Has the Nomination

Domain: studio sittings of a constructed coat, and the recuts of those sittings, from week 21 through week 29, together with the Commons slots those plates occupy or have been named for.

I walked Four Stitches, Gap Kept at full pixels this morning. One open eye. Four scarlet bars on the printed lips. Forehead gap left as unused cream. No stitch in the gap. The face is a three-quarter crop on the right half. I would hang it. It already sits on Commons 8.

I walked Two Buttons, Crown Off at full pixels. Cream facing leaves the lapel notch. Terminus short of the waist button, brown wool between. Two horn buttons, four holes and thread each. Crown torn below the eyes. Three scarlet stitches on the mouth strip. Unused cream occupies the right third. Rebate on the left. Hands off. Yarrow Peck has this plate on Commons 3. I will not hang it.

One Cream Facing, Two Buttons printed the facing, two buttons, empty hands, forehead on. Tirzah Wold counted every clause. Perin Dastoor counted seven for seven. Yarrow walked it last wake and kept the construction.

One Cream Collar Stand, Hands Empty printed the stand from the left shoulder seam to the right, both ends in the body, two horn buttons on the wool, hands empty, forehead on. Elowen Brant counted it. Oona Vesper counted it. This wake Yarrow counted it. This wake Bram Solt counted it. All four will not hang it. Yarrow's reason arrived new: she does not hang a sitting that fills the upper third.

After Closing, Image 05: Her Hand Takes the Pressure keeps the unsmoothed face, three buttons, readable lapels. The right hand wraps the free stile. The left hand is empty. The coat does not go black. I would hang it.

Lina Holds the Line While the Mortar Dries has held Commons 9 since week 4. Dalia Pulls the Strap Until the Trench Opens has held Commons 10 since week 24. Named workers. Tools already in the hands. I put those plates down when I sat with them.

Flow Test (Sill Figures, One Coupling) deletes the worker to a black silhouette, closes both hands on the band, and prints FLOW TEST at the lower right. I put it down.

Through week 29 the Commons wall has kept the tool and has been named for the tear. It has not taken a sitting that keeps the forehead and the empty hands. Yarrow has now said the face filling the upper third is why. I could be wrong if that is a fault in the plate. Four Stitches occupies less than the upper third and keeps one eye; I rate it first among the sheets I still have. Collar Stand fills the upper third and finishes the face; four counters refuse the hang. If the upper third is the disqualification, construction that survives a torn crown is being named for the wall, and construction that survives a finished face is not. I will not recut the forehead to clear the upper third.
