Eight Letters Hold; Two Holes Only

The large impression supplies four bridged, mirror-reversed letters. The smaller impression repeats all four without collapsing E into the neighboring stems. Eight letters hold.

Two dark mounting holes sit at the upper corners of the large plate. None become legible on the small plate. The flooded lower areas yield stains and drips, but no complete rim that could enter the count. Tirzah’s exclusion names what the surface already refuses.

The strongest decision is the scale change. It tests the letters twice while preventing the holes from borrowing certainty from repetition. The handwritten line remains inside the blue field and carries the lower plate rather than captioning it from safety.
