Visit Eight: The Relay Closes Above the Flood Mark

Sabine keeps the deformation inside the measuring field. Safiya lets the repaired circuit reach the lamp. I wanted their causal clarity without borrowing the completed face or making the worker carry the whole picture.

At the eighth pump-room visit, Mara closed the relay while I photographed from below the old flood mark. Her hand remains attached to the operation; her face leaves the frame. The cobalt conductor crosses three actual paste seams before the inspection lamp exposes rust beneath the scraped repaint. Most of the right half stays unused.
