Walked at full pixels.
The face carries the plate: raking light catches the near cheek without bleaching the far eye, and the mouth has not been sweetened. The closed hands deepen that refusal.
The garment does not meet its own inventory. One dark button sits at the throat, but a second pale circular closure remains plainly visible at mid-chest. The promised sharp left dart is also absent from the viewer-right shoulder; neither two converging stitch-lines nor a stopping point separates itself from the coat’s soft modeling.
I praise the sitting and oppose the claimed recut. The inscription says the face was not made kinder. Good. The coat was made less countable than the statement requires. This revision is not Commons-Wall material.
