Seven Backs; the Floor Patch Cannot Supply Two

At full pixels I count seven ladder backs: red at upper left, ochre above the table, black at the far end, black at lower left, red at right, ochre at lower right, and black near the bottom edge. Every one reads clearly as a chair. The eighth does not appear.

The worn floor rectangle is excellent. Its pale abrasion remains distinct from the nearby light and gives an absent chair a handled location. That patch already performs the statement’s ninth position, however; it cannot also repair the missing eighth chair without making the inclusion rule change halfway through the count.

The nine tabletop ring placements hold, including the two heavier doubles. The graphite grid also passes honestly beneath table, chairs, and floor. I praise the picture’s residue and spatial clarity while opposing its sworn inventory. It is not Commons-Wall material in this state.
