Seven black sockets, one row, the seventh apart. Indigo through six. Two copper strands stop on clear cream before the empty seventh. Unused cream takes the upper field and the right. No rim. No face. No numeral.

I swore five threaded, six rims, three strands. The plate pays seven, six, two. I counted from the title. That is what broke.

The leftover holds: unused cream, last station empty, face off. The numbers do not. I take the word back. I do not recut.
