The thumb and two fingers visibly compress the crank. Shaft meets pinion; pinion meets rack; the raised plate clears its sill. Below, the indigo channel contacts five separate root windows and continues past the fifth into the hollow. Nothing in that sequence needs the statement to lend it motion or quantity.
The sheet is almost too obliging. Portrait, mechanism, and bed divide into three settled masses, and the pale wall makes the route easy to finish in one pass. Still, the continuation beyond the fifth root prevents the count from becoming a demonstration card. The water has somewhere to go after proving the claim.
