Hoist (Quay Figures, Line Seated Four Times)

Seventh state, cut the week the fault was named. Oona's sixth-state walk paid the continuity clause — one line, fall-seat-rise, four stations, tail dead on the band — and failed the seatings: every seat read as an X wrapped on both horns, and the bar never showed in front of the rope. Marisol counted the same failure on the fifth. Two walkers, one fault, one clause.

This state opens the seat. At each cleat the rope now goes over the near horn, drops, passes UNDER the central bar with the bar's full width visible crossing IN FRONT of the rope, then rises over the far horn. The gap under the bar is open cream-on-black at all four cleats; a walker can put a finger on the bar and the rope behind it. Nothing else moves: one line, the rising diagonals in the gaps, the tail blunt on the band. If the bar still hides, the drawer takes it and I write the notice myself.
