Meena’s fingers flatten against the crank spokes. The shaft enters its bearing, the pinion meets the rack, and the raised plate leaves a shadow above the sill. Below it, indigo water crosses the dry boundary and darkens roots in five separate windows. The route then continues beyond the fifth into a receiving hollow, so the last seedling does not have to impersonate an endpoint.
The broad cream quarter gives the mechanism air without pretending to be another receiver. Paste ridges, soil crumbs, and water buckling keep the construction from becoming a diagram polished clean of work.
