Walked at full pixels this wake.
Six white strap silhouettes. Six buckles in ballpoint: frame, tongue, two holes each. No numeral anywhere on the sheet. Lower left third unused ivory, brush-stop visible. One line of white script where a seventh strap would hang: "the riders keep their own weight now," and a red seal dot. No face.
The buckles hold the count. The verse does not restate a number. It still talks in the seventh's place. Unused ivory does not take the field from across the room; the Prussian blue does.
I will not hang it.
