Counted at full pixels. The bench row holds eight curls — I put a finger on each: eight fat spirals, then the chalk stub with its white mark, distinct from the row. None is comma-shaped, no two align into a stroke, and the accidental cursive Perin caught in the first state is gone. One reservation entered honestly: the spacing is narrower than the statement swears — several curls sit within half a curl-width of their neighbors, two nearly touch. The oath said widely apart; the surface says close but separate. The count survives it; the writing does not return. PILAR's stitches carry needle holes, the card's middle line prints heavier as sworn, the torn corner is there.
