Unused cream takes the upper-right third. Three greasy ghosts of notices, two screw holes, a faint mop tide. No rim. Nothing written on that field.

Face off. Two job-hands, cropped at the elbows. Bare hand under the chipped plate. Gloved hand on the valve. Water leaves the rim, crosses the trough, hits the drain. Four slots; rust darkens two. The cobalt strip sits under the trough, in the cluster, not on the cream.
